Seth, the songwriter

It's really cute when Seth doesn't realize that he doesn't know the words to a song he's singing.

Song: Love You Like a Love Song, by Selena Gomez
Correct lyrics: "I love you like a love song, baby."
Seth's lyrics: "I love you like a lovesick puppy."

Song: If I Die Young, by The Band Perry
Correct lyrics: "If I die young, bury me in satin . . . "
Seth's lyrics: "If I die young, bury me alive . . . "
(No, that doesn't make any sense at all.)

  1. Once I was listening to Joseph singing in the shower (he was singing "If I die young" as well) and he interpreted "ain't it funny when you die how people start listening?" as "ain't it funny when you die how people start burying you?"

Guess it's just a hard song for some people.

  2. My favorite mistaken lyrics story is from an old roommate. We were listening to the Temptations song, "My Girl" -- classic, right? Well, she said that she liked the song but felt bad liking it because of the questionable lyrics. Huh? Finally it came out that when he says, "I've got all the riches, baby, one man can claim," she thought he said, "I've got all the bi*&$%, baby..." Still makes me laugh remembering that!
